#Series S Crash?!

Does anyone know (for the Series S) if the crashing on the 10th donation is if you do 10 donations at a time, OR the 10th ITEM you donate? I know it’s a KNOWN thing, I just need to know if I need to only donate 9 at a time, or if I’m stuck ONLY donating 9 items.
