Solar panel is not producing battery. I unlocked and made it during mid summer and it’s now fall and it hasn’t produced a battery. Does the weather affect its production?

Anecdotal but mine produced all through summer and did not do anything for about 15-17 days of fall, but then randomly started working again. I had nothing but sunny/windy days (which is its own problem....)

Speed it takes is dependent on how sunny it is, but it shouldn’t take too much longer to produce. Sounds like a bug

Try restarting your game. Some of my machines would bug out and not produce anything even when the duration was met. After restarting I was able to collect them.
