Making money

Does anyone know whats the easiest or quickest way to make money?!! Im 26 days in and still have 1k 😭 I can’t progress

Forage and sell. Sell every extra bug and fish you get (after donating or offering), farm farm farm.

If you have made it to the gold ore or kelp, you can sell some of that too.

I have 5 bronze kelp but dont you need those for ling lab?

Bronze doesn’t sell for much. Are you diving? Forage everything you find when clearing the trash.

Unfortunately im stuck in first area of diving, the solar orbs wouldn’t spawn so ive been in the mines and clearing out my farm area so I can plant more crops.

Regarding being stuck and not finding the solar Orbs. Be sure to check every section of the ground that is behind a 3d Model, i almost got stuck too, but i luckily was suspicious enough ^^. Just hover with your mouse slowly over the area and check if your cursor changes to a hand
Regarding easy money, i slept a long time on the Dehydrator. Just forage everything while diving slap it into the table and sell in in the shipping bin. Instant money.
Convert trash into scrap, scrap into glass and craft a few Mason Jars early on. Put veggies or fruits into it and then sell it.
Both of these are unlocked relatively early and give 2 Charges (Dehydrator) / 3 Charges (Mason Jar) per day if managed correctly.

Fishing helps a lot but will say the progression in the game as of 1.0 is very slow. I don’t know why they nerfed the progression system because it was not always like that in early access.

Im on PlayStation 😭 and I dont have mason jar unlocked yet nor a kitchen since i am broke lol

Ahh dont know whats different on playstation, but you should still be able to hove your cursor over the ground behind 3d Models that do not get transulecent.

I like fishing until I keep getting the same fish. Which I do sell but its never the fish i need to offer or donate 😔

Everywhere you cleared thrash or where trash could have been and you cant see the ground.

I’ll look again.. i wish the solar orbs let off some light or something to be able to find em im never gonna explore the rest of the ocean

Not sure if you know this but for temple offering don’t worry too much about the rating. Say the temple asks for bronze star rice, if you get a silver one, it will still take it.

Oh okay cool. I wasnt sure if that mattered or not. Also do you know if certain fish show on certain days or times?

I know you can fish out octopus at night time, I think also lobster.

Improve your farm skills until you can make the Mason Jars. Pickle every crop you harvest. Buy cattle, improve skills until you get mayonaise and cheese makers recipes. Upgrade produce quality at lab. Generally processing raw ingredients into artisan products will get you more and more money.
