Can't seem to get Fossil nodes

Is there an easier way for farming fossil nodes, cause I have been farming for them in ocean caves and cleared the whole entire ocean of trash and havent gotten a single fossil node.

Try the mines, when I knocked the fossils I found them all over simply by using the cheap dynamite

Have you unlocked the improved Museum (after the pickstarter quest is completed)? Scott will give you the special item to unlock the fossil nodes bcos in current version it won't unlock otherwise.

? What are you talking about you can take the fossil nodes to the lab and you don’t need the tool from Scott to unlock fossils

How do you farm the nodes with that do you have to have it on you or actually use it?

I also noticed I was not getting any fossil nodes before the Museum Pickstarter quest is completed, then I get a new key item from Scott that said "unlocks Fossil Node" in version 1.0, then I started getting Fossil Nodes.

you just clear trash or mine rocks as usual.

You can open them at the lab.

Ok I got it but I haven’t found any fossils yet I’ll have to keep trying

but you don’t need the brush/tool/whatever it is in your backpack while doing it, right?

No, they get automatically added to the character special key item screen. Not in your bag.

They are on the rarer side tbh. I get a lot more coffers than nodes on a usual day.
