Title. I got a B.O.S. quest asking me to slay 7 of these and I've been through the Earth mine and never heard of them. I see they are listed under "Monsters" on the wiki but with no actual pages and I see someone was told these weren't in the game pre 1.0, when I use Discord search. Thanks!

They were in the game for a bit, but if I'm looking at the right thing, they've been removed from the spawn tables since the last time I checked.
The only Earth element monsters that seem to be active right now are Skullys and Slimes.

I have also had the quest; not fulfilling them doesn't give you negative effects afaik, but it is still annoying to get an impossible quest. I'm in the wind shaft right now and have still not seen an earth amalo, so Nautilus is probably right with them being removed for now

No negative effects just the opportunity cost of receiving a different task that is actually achievable without wasting the task reset time 😂 but I realize I play like an optimized monster. Okay, thank you both!

Really? Then the task definitely needs to be adjusted to decrease the number needed. Have you killed one? Is it in your journal?
