#crashes on startup menu

i would like to say since the 1.0 update it takes me a few times to open the game as it crashes in start up menu (steam crashes as well) i have to reset my Alineware laptop then open it again to work. however i dont get the "crash" report but other then that being a slight inconvenience the game runs smoothly after
