I was just going through reading the bios for all the townies, but I just noticed Takeba is not in there?? If I'm not wrong, his profile should be next to Theo (if it's in alphabetical order). Is there a reason why he isn't there?

Oh that is so strange. During Early Access you could see Takeba in the Extras category because he's not a friendable NPC. I wonder if his icon glitched when they ported over to V1.0

He’s kind of like Senja and Axel from the BOS or Karen from pufferfish. He’s someone you can talk to and technically still gain some hearts with, but they don’t have any heart events or independent storyline. Takeba has a lot of intertwined story with Wakuu (he’s in a few of his heart events and Wakuu says that me takes care of him) so I think it’s more that he adds more life to the game but just doesn’t have an independent story line
I could definitely see them adding more to his story later on, I know the alter for transportation over by the hot spring says you need to “improve the hot spring” To unlock it so maybe Takeba will have more content in that plot line when they add it?
