Can't pick up old bed?

So I bought a new bed, placed it down in my house, but I can't pick up my old bed. The Wiki says it's core so you can't get rid of the old bed, is that the case?

Press space while in decorate mode

or decor mode whatever it's called lol

It says like Put back or something, but it really should be put away
