unreal engine crash whenever game saves after sleeping PC STEAM

All the days progress lost. This crash happens every after sleeping. The screen will show "Saving" then CRASH happens.

What platform are you playing on? And did you use any auto-chests? They are known to cause crashes currently.

I'm playing on steam. Yes I have autochest on for trash to recycler.

If you are on PC you can also try lowering the resolution and graphical settings to see if it will help.

Same issue. I wasn’t using the auto chest before because I wanted to create a bunch at the same time. I just started recently using one for recycling. It saved fine for one night but I guess that’s why it crashed three times while saving another night.

im having the same issue to...i just started a new game and im on summer day 1 year one and i been on summer for the past hour trying to save but it keeps crashing...im playing on steam. no auto chest

Unfortunately I did but I couldn't open it as it froze my computer

I also tried something I turned off my anti virus and my game hasn't crashed since...I could play for hours without any issues

This crash is unbearable, every 2 or 3 days (in-game), during the saving process, it crashes. Worse yet, you lose everything you've done during the day in the game. I play on PC, using the auto chest on the Recycling Machine, Cheese Press, and Oil Press.

that sucks...this is going to be out there but have you turned off your anti virus thing threw settings?? it has worked for me. (but i highly dont recommend it if you forget to turn it back on that could casue an issue)

Just had this crash too on Fall 1, no auto chests. PC/Steam, first crash.

have you tried turn your graphics down? some people have recommended that idk if that works tho

1. Yes, I have 1 auto chest connected to 2 recycler.
2. I placed some trash inside the auto chest and used the architect desk before the crash happened.
3. I repeated the same day. Did the same action but this time, I placed some trash in the auto chest but did not used the architect desk. Still the game crashed.
4. 3rd rerun of the day, did the same thing except use the architect desk and auto chest, this time the game saved properly.
5. In addition, I have the architecture desk placed outside.
   Action taken, ignored the auto chest and removed the architect desk and placed it inside the chest. Played for 3 days straight no crash.

I just experienced this too, for the first time since playing the game from day 1 of 1.0. When I went to sleep, it got stuck on "Saving" and then showed this error. I'm playing on PC, via the Xbox app as I play through Gamepass. I do not have any auto-chess. I would also rather not lower the graphics, as my PC should be able to handle it, seeing how I played Cyberpunk on max settings... If sharing the exact specs helps, let me know.
I play the game at 50% speed so I lost at least 40 min progress... Very frustrating.

that seems to fix the crashes for me...everytime i turn it back on (aint-virus) then play it crashes so idk

I disabled the antivirus and lowered the graphics, used the auto chest, and it crashed again. Then I removed the auto chest and kept the antivirus inactive with low settings... now it crashed when I was near Beluga (entrance to Merfolk). I really wish there was a manual save.

Oh no that really sucks I'm sorry that it keeps crashing....I thought disabling the anti-virus would work (tho it was a long shot)
