hello there :)
i’m still early in the game (day 17 or 18) and i didn’t play the early access so i was looking for tips to make my days in the game better adventure wise and money wise. (i’m not looking to try hard the game but i could organize my days in game better to make more progress and more money). so questions for you guys, and hopefully you have some tips for a newbie like me.

  1. any tips to handle my stamina better? i do play on 50% speed so i know my days are longer but if i don’t eat a snack during the day, sometimes my stamina is gone by 6pm.
  2. for our skills, what bonus should i choose for level 1? chance of dropping better quality items or chance of dropping double items?
  3. what order should i upgrade my tools in?
  4. now that i have the money, should i buy a coop or a barn first?
  5. what time are we passing out at night? i thought i saw people say they changed the time and now our character is passing out at 2am but i’m pretty sure my character passed out at max 1am a few days (in game) ago. so i wanted someone to confirm or not this info so i know if it could have been a bug or not

i can’t think of more questions rn but i also just woke up so my brain is a bit slow aha. also, sorry if there are any mistakes or the wording is a bit wonky, english isn’t my first language.
thanks in advance for anyone who will answer me! 🫶🏻

Game Tips :

  • for energy saving at the early game, you can shake the trees all around the town. they would drop tree seeds. you can craft candied tree seed
    • also, you might want to upgrade the house (unlock kitchen). by cooking it will provide stamina and gift-gifting for the npcs
  • Regrowabble crops (crops that can be harvested multiple times) are good for your start because you don't have to buy more seeds.

what i suggest to do :

  • Rank up the town as soon as possible, you can do so by :
  • cleaning the ocean
  • complete the offerings of altars (its various, you need to do fishing and insect catching, planting crops etc)
  • donating to the museum :
    • artifact : get them from coffers by cleaning the trash on the ocean
    • gems : you can get gems from opening geode at the blacksmith ( geode can be gotten by breaking stones, on the mine especially)
    • fossil : opening fossil nodes, get them by breaking stone on the mine or cleaning trash at the ocean ( you need to complete the museum quest story after donating 50 items )
  • set the game-time speed to 50% so you'd have more time to roam around the island and collect all the forageabbles, catching the bugs, and fishing
  • buy a barn and a coop as soon as you can. so then you can complete the altar faster.
  • chicken and cows are needed so you can join the mini games at the animal festival (summer)
  • when you win 1st place on those mini games, they would produce gold products (golden egg & golden milk ) which is the equal to two large products of them
  • buy a backpack upgrade as soon as possible, you really need them trust me
  • upgrade tools as soon as possible, my priorities are pickaxe because with it you can gather more ores which is needed for tool upgrades.

most importantly, relax and enjoy the game... you dont have to do everything all at once

crop planting tips

*machine that needed to process the crops

  • Keg = Farming Lvl 6
  • Loom = Ranching Lvl 6
  • Aging barrel = Farming lvl 10
  • [F] : They are available from the start because you start at town rank F

spring

  • Potato [F], its good for your first spring when anything else is still locked. potato seed is quite cheap at early games, after getting some money you might want to switch to cauliflowers
  • cauliflower is the most expensive vegetable
  • Sugarcane [D], it regrows everyday. You can sell it straight away. sugarcane is the best crops to sell if not processed
  • strawberries [D], turn them into juice on keg
  • strawberries is good for late game, and one of the best to plant on the greenhouse^

Summer

  • hot pepper [F], it last 2 season (Summer and fall) therefore can be good for your first year of summer
  • Wheat [F], turn them into beer in keg
  • wheat seed cost 15 each and you can sell beer for 165-330 gold (based on the quality). you can further turn it into aged beer in the aging barrel (sells for 495-990 based on quality)
  • melon [D]. Melon is the most expensive fruit. Processed or not processed

Fall

  • rice [F], for its cheap seed proce sell a lot when turn into sake at keg
  • rice seed cost 15 gold, while for sake you can sell them for 460-920 (based on the quality)
  • pumpkin [E], its regrowabble. And sells for nice amount
  • fairy rose[C], turn them to honey
  • Cactus [B], IS THE GOAT. can be turned into the most expensive artisan in the game. its a flower. Turn it to honey at the bee house, and then turn it into cactus mead on aging barrel. It can worth 10K Each per cactus mead. even 12,5k with crop preks skill

Winter (all winter seed available only when your townrank reached c)

  • cotton, you can harvest them 3 times on winter. Make cotton cloth on the loom (need to lvl up ranching to craft looms)
  • Snowdrop, it last on winter and spring. Turn them to honey. and lastly into wine at aging barrel
  • cotton production time is faster than snowdrop, but snowrop wine is more expensive. you can do both..

*There might be some change to the town rank unlock requirements

hope it helps!
