Hi guys; I am having a really tough time with my chickens and ducks not laying as they should be at 5 hearts, they always have hay and there's tons of grass too. What on earth am I doing wrong? I've never had problems like this with the tons of hours I played the early release! Please Help!! Oh and if anyone knows how long a person has to wait for the sale of a new fishing rod, I'd be grateful too!

Make sure you pet and fed them everyday. Make sure to bring them outside too (except on rain)
You can buy heater from jack's store. Outside winter, they will boost the animal moods
Try all that and if its still not working, perhaps its a bug. Try reload the game
