This has happened twice in a row. I finished the pumpkin smashing, and then clicked on the continue button with my mouse, and the game completely freezes. This is the clip I took, along with the Xbox crash message recieved after. I am on PC Gamepass, on v1-4.

yeah i just skipped it after the 2nd crash. no issues with the apple bobbing, just pumpkin smashing for some reason.

I just crashed entering the festival. I got my wind mine tunnel to level 10 too I’m so hurt 😭

Crashed when finishing the Pumpkin game. Fine with Apple bobbing. Xbox PC Gamepass.
Also, tied for first and still got 2nd place reward.... 😞

I had to wait all day to crash I did the apple game and the pumpkin game put in my crops then at some point crash and got it 2 twice now doing the same thing god how many bugs and crash issues are there it hard to play 😔 but it should be fix soon there doing hard work on it 🙂to hopefully to wear we can enjoy this beautiful game for what is is and I can get to marrying Eva so am going to take brake to its fix

This happened to me twice just now! I joined the disc because I heard this was a good place to report crashes, but I see it's already in the works! Hoping it gets resolved soon so others don't lose the whole day's progress like I did 🥲

I'm also having this issue it crashed last night and then tonight 🥲 its a bummer that the festival is at the end of the day too because you lose so much work

Still having this crash, tried it again to see whether the patch might have changed anything (wishful thinking seeing as it wasn't in the patch notes). I'll leave the game alone again I think till I get a confirmed resolve.

Same issue today in pc xbox game pass. I already got the bug while diving that I cannot use tools. Opted to continue playing without diving mechanics of the game until fix. Then this happens. 😦 I guess I will really park the game for now. I just hope xbox game pass gets some patch soon. It seems not part of the priority platform. Steam got a few patches in already but pc game pass still the same version when I started playing on launch....

mine is giving this error at the beginning of the game, it doesn't enter the menu, there is a black screen and the game closes with this message

Also having the same issue. I read online that someone cleared their inventory of everything except the items for the competition and it worked for them. Sadly for me it just got me to accept the pumpkin reward, then crashed when I went to “end game” after getting the reward. I’ve tried 4 times now. So I guess I’ll forgo the pumpkin smashing when I get on again. Hopefully they patch it before I get to it again in year 2. Been bingeing the game so I’m flying thru it. 😅 Almost have the entire ocean cleaned up. In the last area now. Hopefully I avoid any further bugs! 🤞🤞

If you are playing via xbox game pass pc. There’s a bug after completing the quest given by the oracle in the merfolk kingdom so watch out! I don’t want to spoil anything so feel free to search for it or let me know so I can give redirect you to the bug thread here in discord.
