#Why did you market this release as 1.0 when you knew it wasn't ready?

Unfinished main story?
Basic input bugs and glitches?
Crashes everywhere?

1.0 should at the very LEAST deliver a stable product. You are trendsetting in the opposite direction of good right now. Intentionally misleading consumers that this product is ready for a quick buck.

This. Bought the PS5 game after seeing the trailer and that it said full release and foolishly expected a game. Plays like it hasn't been playtested on PS5 at all and I am incredibly disappointed right now.

Unfortunately a lot of modern game devs do this. I agree 100% with you. We live in a time of day one patches. Investors pushing unfinished projects to meet financial gain. Cyberpunk, no man’s sky are examples of a redemption arc, but frankly that shouldn’t be our hopes and expectations. I believe it will be good in time, however, I’m tired of saying that about games in general.

Agreed. They absolutely released it too early. I knew there was a huge chance the console version would be buggy, and I was foolish not to wait and see how it was before purchasing. The main story not even being finished is insane. I believe the game will be amazing, even on console, after some time. But it's still incredibly obvious they wanted a quick buck while they finish working on the game.

They most likely released it early due to the fact that they need feedback from a community for the game, they don't know what the new players want so they probably released it in the early stages.

But that was the whole point of early access, no? I'm sure it was the decision of the publisher as it usually is. I just think it's a shame because people who haven't been following early access are going to be confused when they see things blocked off in a supposedly finished game. It's a bit shady.

They kinda lost their chance on getting good first impression, good luck recovering from that.

This is what I have been arguing in the general chat: I was vaguely aware of the game, but bought it off the trailer and store page on the ps5.

And I am sorry, but for a non-involved player the game is not only near unplayable, but also just not finished.

If that had been clearly communicated on the store page I‘d have been fine with it. But they didn‘t. And still don‘t.

although It did state that it was it's first version did it not?

I‘m sorry you have to rephrase that for me, I‘m not sure I understand what you‘re asking :/

ah basically I'm asking if the devs stated that it was the game was it's first version with the "v.10-836"

Isn't the confusion stemming from the WIP giants quest that is part of the post release support for the Savannah?

flat oar

The giants, in my case I am bummed out about the merfolk for example

To be fair it's usually not the devs fault, it will be the publishers pushing for a release date and being unwilling to move it for marketing reasons.

Yeah I am fully understanding of that. It‘s still not great for the customer. Now that I‘ve adjusted to the fact that I bought into an EA i‘m kinda okay with it and will enjoy the game and look forward to updates, but its not a good first impression

They clearly were inspired by Bethseda... who is notorious for not throwing out completed games 🤣

Seriously tho - I agree with you. I'm pretty bummed at how this is progressing.

I jus wanna be able to do the basics, like get married and actually being able to skip past some upgrades like why do I need to do the bronze crap if I can go straight to silver? It’s jus a waste of time…
