Scott 10 heart event doesn’t activate?

So I did everything I was supposed to, which is getting him to 10 hearts, doing all the heart events and showing up at the museum after 7pm? What am I supposed to do now and do I get a mail when he wants to meet up? I just donated like 40 things to the museum so it would upgrade which took me so long and it still didn’t do anything…

I think I see the issue. Scott has one 10 heart event but it needs a 10b helper mail quest to trigger

he did for other events but not for all of them

we are suspecting a label bug- something is mislabeled and that is why it isn't triggering. i'm working on getting hearts up with him

There have been other requests for help with other characters tbh, you aren't really the first

Just that the heart events details are only what we can pull from data so if something is really wrong and we didn't overlook anything (human error is always possible) it could be something we can't find

If it's okay for me to chime in, i actually got Scott to 10 hearts and still no mail (and no cutscene ofc). I'm at year 1 Winter when i got him to 10 hearts; thought he may send the mail in Spring but idk. If there's a problem with labeling, only option would be to wait for a fix.

Scott doesn't have a no winter clause I think, except for winter fair potentially messing - so if you're not getting the mail either it's probably that issue. Could you/did you report it?

wait sorry for miss information, but the "Just the two of us" letter is || when Scott showed us his wooden triceratops ||

So yea from my understanding it might be either:
A. We have to wait a long while before we get that mail
B. We have to complete a certain "undisclosed" task (completing museum to certain degrees, getting to a certain town rank, or something else idk)
C. The codes goes wonk and it's actually a bug

There's something nagging me a little... Did anyone notice his dialogue changes whenever we talk to him at the museum? Also, before we romance him, he'll usually exit museum at 19.00 with Eleanor. But, right on 10 hearts, he seem to stay late up till 23.00 in the museum..

From the requirement log we need the mail in order to activate the heart event, but the problem is that idk how to trigger that said mail event

Hmm.. i'm not sure if this works but gonna try something. Talk to him everyday in the museum, finding out if somehow certain dialogue is needed (not certain idk). I'm chill with waiting for a fix, but can't sleep on my end 😂

The thing is that data is just data, how do you think the info was dug up in the first place? XD Implementation can be bugged though

Even if data is just data but it's a strings of codes that basically runs the game, at the surface we know HOW it's supposed to go but inside the code we don't really know how "if 'something' is triggered, event B is triggered"

there's a 10b helper quest, with a 10b mail requirement (10b mail does not exist), as well as a 10 mail (this one exists, but the quest is 10b helper) and from what I can tell, it's looking for 10b mail (which again, doesn't exist)

See what I find confusing is why the tag named "scott_10b_helper" when the other are just "scott_7_helper" and "scott_8_helper"

because some events have multiple parts, so it's possible to have 8a, 8b, etc.

When 1.0 came around, some adjustments happened (e.g. Wakuu's 4th heart event changing times)

on the other hand I noticed something similar with Yuri but someone said they managed to marry her?

So from my basic understanding "_helper" is a mail, since in Scott hearts events "_helper" only appears in scene where we get a letter from Scott regarding an activity we're going to do together

Yes, this is a common thing with the romance, that's why we don't know if something is really properly okay or not until someone actually hits that point
I saw a similar issue with many others and told the devs, but someone has managed to handle Yuri's wedding apparently? 😐 Even though it demonstrates a similar labelling issue (there's a requirement for viewing 8b-1, which is actually 8b, but somehow someone managed to marry Yuri)

helpers are usually mail events, yeah

Lukes 10 heart can only be triggered in spring, summer, and fall on a sunny day at the lake between 1800-2100

I never got the letter and even when i go to the date place it never triggers. Ive tried more than 20x already. Ive seen all his heart events prior to the 10th. Read somewhere that if u get to 10 hearts in winter ( winters bugged thats what the writer said) you cant seem to view that 10th heart event. I got luke at 10 hearts a day or 2 before the winter fair😭😭im now on spring 17 and still no event. Im also having a problem triggering pablos 7th heart. Went to blacksmith between 1600-1800 and it cant trigger. I have successfully viewed wakuu ( but didt receive a letter, i just showed up at the observatory🤣) & theos 10th event without any problems. Hope they fix the bugs soon.

I haven’t seem scotts 10 heart bug mentioned on any official page and its been ignored on the bug report site. They also didn’t list it as a future bug resolution on their update post today. Have we confirmed that this is in fact a bug? Is it possible that year, museum rank, or town rank are factors?

Nope, none of those factor in. I know several people tried. A lot of other 10 heart events aren’t be acknowledged either. I get there are more important issues but it would be nice to hear something regarding the progress or even acknowledgment.

there might be SOME basic requirements but most importantly what we need to get is achieving 10 hearts with Scott and 10 hearts mail from Scott will be sent to players mailbox, but it never happen no matter how long you wait

I took a break from the game because PC Game pass has still not received a single bug fix patch. I think they are forcing you to buy it on steam or console.

Do you have it on console? I loaded my save on Xbox and it triggered the scene, from then on I could play through the rest of the scenes on PC.
