When you meet some of the townies they already seem to know the player. I'm just confused as to why. Did I skip an intro at the start that explains this or something?

The intro cut scene Connor says Welcome back. It honestly could be made more clear that it seems to be a family farm and that you (the player) seemingly visited as a child. I think specifically the twins are most familiar with you maybe implying you would’ve stayed at the inn and played with them as kiddos. But it could definitely be clearer!
