So the update did something to my game. I just started the game and it says the the early access save was unable to find my game save, and if I continue I will to start all over again? Can someone please help me? I really love this game and I really hate to start for the beginning where I just got to the merfolks.

Unfortunately you cannot continue from that save. Instead you will get 'new game plus' where you start over but have all of the money that you had earned over your previous game. You can get to the merfolk pretty quickly if you grind though
