Does bug alert span not reset?

So I remember on the PC that the alert would go back down if you moved out of range. Is that not the case anymore?

as far as ive seen, yeah looks like the bug "alert bar" wont be reseted anymore

I was wondering the same thing, just thought it was a bug (pun unintended )
