I'd like to change my Switch key out for a Steam key. The support email has completely ignored me beyond a form 'no' answer. I didn't get a chance to request it earlier as I wasn't following the updates and missed the Nov 1st deadline. I'd really like to have a PS5 key instead of Switch, but I'll take a Steam key if it's all I can get.

I actually wanted to do the same. I paid for 2 and would honestly like to switch them both to steam so I don't have to pay twice for the game.

Wait, what Nov 1st deadline? I had asked to change from a switch key to steam key back when they took the alpha down and was told no. And also haven't been seeing anything about a switch release timeline

I sent my email on 18th October, the day after the announcement, and have heard nothing back. It was well within the deadline, so I hope they eventually send me a Steam key.

Update #66 on the Kickstarter says '1.0 Launch Platforms At 1.0, Coral Island will be available on Steam/Win10, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Coral Island is targeting a 2024 launch for Nintendo Switch. We need more time to ensure the playing experience is as best as possible. If you would like to play v1.0 at launch, we can facilitate a change from a Switch key to a Steam key. Key changes between consoles are not feasible. Any changes need to be confirmed by November 1st. Please send an email titled “Request to exchange to a Steam key” to support@stairwaygames.com so we can assist you with this change.'

What's extra wild is I had the same thing you did, a request when it was made obvious that Steam was going to be the ONLY platform allowed for Early Access - and they told me I could. I just figured waiting until release was going to be better than playing a buggy EA mess.

Now, of course, it turns out I wasn't waiting until release, but until who-knows-how-long-past.
