I played the festival with a normal potato and it worked but when i reloaded my save and tried with the silver rated turnip nothing would happpen after selecting start main event.
I tried again, restarting the day again but the same thing happened, the only thing I know is different is the rating, the vegetable, and that i didn't speak to the mayor to say i was ready before starting the event when using the turnips
