As the title says.... How exactly do you plant trees? I till and my character just drops the sapling.

To plant fruit plant, you need 2x2 tilled soil. need to be watered. it died after after 2 season
for fruit tree, you need 3x3 of empty space, doesnt need to be tilled nor watered it would never died, wont be producing fruit out of its seasons
for maple, oak, and pine you just need to put the seed on the ground. you can plant them they just need 1x1 space but you would need 3x3 empty space in order for them to be abble to grow
