I'm wracking my brain on how to best use this 25K in my new save. It's not like I made it particularly far into the ER (barely scratched summer) so I'm less inclined to just spend it for the hell of it.

What are some pragmatic uses that could make things easier down the line? Or stuff you wish you had early on?

well heres my list of what i use with ng+ money

  • jamu, for stamina
  • early tools upgrade
  • early house upgrade, getting kitchen would definitely help with energy and gifting npc
  • moreeeeeeee seed, more planting in the early games
  • backpack upgrades

I'd definitely suggest getting at least the first 2 backpack upgrades on Day 1. More space for forage and mining loot! Apart from that, I second everything Salmonaru suggests. Maybe adding that if you have enough left over, then getting the coop or barn early could be helpful for extra cash, gifts, temple offerings, and cooking ingredients 🙂

  1. Backpack
  2. I bought some ore - even if you don't have a lot to spend on it, get 20 (to build the furnace, which will unlock the day after you get ore)
  3. Tools upgrade
  4. Kitchen but if you don't have the money to spare on ALSO getting the utensils, might be worth waiting
  5. Def more seeds!
