I’d just like a clear answer as to if the game currently has local co-op/split screen. It was mentioned on Road Maps and with the game releasing on Xbox today, I’m not sure what the multiplayer/co-op situation is. I just want to be able to play with my family on one console like we did Stardew Valley. All the sites and maps now kind of avoid telling you outright what to expect. Sorry to bother, I’m just a mom in an income bracket where I can’t afford to buy without local co-op.

The game does not have multiplayer in any form at the moment. We (the players) also know very little about how the multiplayer will work when it does get implemented.

Hey there, I didn't want to create a new post so I am reusing this one.
Since the Multiplayer has officially been announced now, have the developers say if they intend to allow local co-op ? Or will it have to be online and buying mutliple copies?
