#Crashing just whenever - PC Steam

I can't seem to make it through a full day in game without randomly locking up. I've noticed an enormous memory leak happens when that occurs. Game just stops - doesn't matter what I'm doing. To my best recollection the only thing that changed the day before this started was I got a pet, and I started learning some of Ling's new tech devices. I'm looking but don't see crash logs where they are supposed to be. This happens while diving, while farming, while browsing inventory containers. I have not seen a pattern as to exactly what is occurring in the game when it freezes.

RAM: 64GB

I've been having this same issue today. The whole game freezes then just crashes. It's done this during collecting stuff from animals, collecting from sprinklers, mining, fishing, and vaulting over a fence. Only started today was 100% fine yesterday. Tried restarting my computer and everything but alas no help

I've been having issues too. When I tried decorating the house and exiting out of the decoration menu, it just crashed when previously, everything was working fine. So I tried to sleep to prevent it from crashing, but it just decided to crash too

Continued old save file, should we start a new game? I was cruising along fine, even in the new merfolk kingdom, until I got to the purple kelp

Continued an old save file, however, the day prior it was working perfectly fine. It was just continually crashing yesterday which was weird.

It's still happening today

I made a new save and got through a few days fine. It will be a while before I'm at the same progression point as before. I'll update if anything changes!

I actually started a new game file after the update and I am also having this problem - for me it always happens when mining - but that happens to be what I am working on right now 😅

I made a new game file after update and there has been multiple occurance of crashing. Usually happens to me mostly in the farm, whether I'm farming or decorating.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035G7
RAM: 8.00 GB
GPU: intel(r) iris(r) plus graphics

You can access the crash log under this file path: C:\Users\ <username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes (the .xml file) and send the entire log here 🙂

This is the most recent crash log that I have. It's from 11/6 which I had one crash that day but nothing as bad as the current repeated crashes which started the next day. There are no crash reports for these other crashes because the game will simply freeze and after some time has passed it will just close. No option to have a crash report.

I'm going to investigate something... These crashes only started happening in my game once I started using the automated chests... I'm going to see if I can remove them to see if that fixes the issue...

Tested the theory... I at least made it to 14:00 in the day before it crashed but it still crashed with no report

Doing some troubleshooting for my computer but this has been the only game/process that's recently crashed from the memory leak

Update: After a bunch of messing around with computer and settings I've been able to play for more than 5 mins without a memory leak. I had to uninstall and reinstall the game. I also turned off VSync and lowered Quailty preset to medium. Not sure exactly what was causing the memory leak but this seems to be helping at least for now.

Just trying to sell everything before the 1.0 launch!

Nevermind, it did went smoothly, but unfortunately, it just crashed after I went to sleep. Decoration went on fine, but only crashed once I went to sleep and got through the shipping results. But it just crashed

I have the same problem, my computer freezes and freezes, making me force it to shut down.

Crashed a few times here and there, but can't seem to make it through Summer 6 without freezing now. My whole computer freezes up and I have to force shut down. I have more than enough specs to run this game so I am confused as to why this is happening. Just wanted to share my experience as well. Any solutions yet?
