what ages do you think the characters are?

Hi! I was wondering how people interpret the characters ages, especially the romance options? 🙂

Im so bad at guessing age ranges lol! So i was wondering about you guy’s guesses ?

I headcannon pretty much every romanceable character in their early 30s!

Probably most of them may be between 23-28(?

It wouldn't surprise me if Charles was the oldest marriage canidate since he IS a doctor. But Yuri is a doctor too. I know a PhD can take at least 10 years to get. OH I think Scott mentioned he has a PhD too.

And Surya is also a phd or working towards it. I can’t remember if it was a fellowship he had with Ling 🤔

I think most can be anywhere from early twenties to mid thirties, perhaps older. The nice thing of no canon ages is you can just make it up for yourself.

I also imagine most of them as late 20s early 30s. They’re definitely seem older as a whole to me than the marriage candidates from Stardew, for example.

True! Im 22 but really like suki, so i just pretend she is 26 and had her daughter at 18 lmao

Honestly I get the impression that Suki had Valentina really young so I don’t think you’re that far off!

I didnt wanna put her through being a teen mom, so i just kept it at 18 haha! But yeah, to me most characters realisticly are in their middle to late twenties early thirties.

Yeah the game wouldn't put her as a teen, especially since she and Antonio did get married and had Valentina. Speaking of SDV, I know no official ages were listed for the chars there, but I do think it was made canon on who was the oldest to youngest out of the marriage candidates. Don't quote me on that though.

It’s at least canon for the bachelors - there’s a note that talks about Harvey, Shane, and Elliott being older than the other three

i see them all as mid/late 20s with the exception of

surya and denali, who i just see as younger than everyone else (maybe 21/22)
yuri and charles, both at least in their 30s
ben and mark, probably mid/late 30s
semeru, definitely mid/late 30s at youngest, potentially in his 40s
