shallots?

I'm half way through summer of year two. For both summers i have never found a single shallot even after looking up what they look like and places to find them. Is there an easy way to get a shallot? I jist need one for the summer offering.

I find them on the little path from Emma’s to the mayor’s where Dippa paints in town.

Keep in mind that they’re a cream color when in the ground and red after picked up

I always find them near waterways
