#1.0 update help

When the 1.0 update is live next month will the game load up the same by clicking play in the opening menu ?

I'm a complete beginner not technical at all and I'm really worried that I will load the game up and loose all my gold .

Will it be as simple as click the play option? I won't have to do anything technical on my steam deck to transfer anything over will I?

heres the detail

New Game + Details

  • New Game + is only for players who have saves from Early Access.
  • New Game + will include total cumulative earnings for that particular save, not just the gold in possession. Everything else will be completely erased and reset (so sell everything if you want to make the most of your starting gold).
  • Once you play New Game + with an old save, that save will no longer be able to be played in the EA Test Branch.
  • New Game + will start a completely new game, starting from Character Creation. It is essentially a brand new save with the added gold.

so its playing like the usual, the save file from EA will be loaded automatically on the 1.0 version
