#Can we miss content added after 1.0 by progressing too fast?

I know the devs plan on adding alot of new cool stuff to the game still (loving that roadmap!) but will we be missing anything added later?

For example say a new cute scene is added for having 5 hearts with an NPC - if we are already at 8 hearts by the time that cutscene is added would we just miss it since we already “passed” that milestone?

Or will the game like queue up that interaction next time we talk to them after the update?

Or will anything else added be additive/ongoing and not going back to early gameplay?

Pretty much just don’t want to miss an interaction because they all add so much to the game world/characters 💖

As far as in general missing a scene by progressing friendship too fast, that shouldn't happen. The "heart" requirement for a scene should be understood as the lowest heart rank you need to get it. You should always get all heart scenes in order. So if you get someone to 8 hearts but dont see any of their heart scenes, you should still see every heart scene in order as soon as you figure out how to trigger them.

If you're worried about missing orders from having your EA Save too far along, early access saves can't carry over to v1.0, so you'll be starting from 0 hearts again with everyone anyway!

Thanks! Though maybe I should be more clear that it’s for newly added content.

Say we’ve triggered all the cutscenes a NPC has and the devs add a new one that triggers when you first arrive on the farm - have we missed that one forever because now we’re in Year 3 or whatever?

The only content in 2024 that will be added is later game content - all planned early game content will be in 1.0 🙂
