Hi, after properly typing in or even copying-and-pasting the code, the Beta branch didn't unlock, and Steam says that the code is incorrect. Any ideas what might have gone wrong? Thanks in advance!

That is because the beta isn't active yet - right now it's only available to people who participated in the Alpha.

Iirc the dev blog informs that on 1.0 launch (aka November 14th) that is when the beta code for EarlyAccess activates
