Not really a question but a request: May I please request that once the game releases, early access players would be given a detailed, step-by-step process in-game on how to properly transfer our old saves to the new one? Sorry, I'd be overthinking about this since I really want to make sure I transfer my earned gold on to the new file

Most likely, you will simply load up a save file from EA and it will start you out as though you had made a new save, character creation and all.
