When will they say if its going to be cross-save compatible or not??

I started playing this game with my xbox gamepass, then stopped because I didn’t want to get way too advanced and then start over once it comes for the switch. When will there be news regarding this?? I just want to know so i can decide if i can continue on xbox and be able to cross my save to switch or just wait until the switch release

If the devs haven't announced it yet, assume not. The roadmap mentions nothing of it and while it's not necessarily all-inclusive, crossplay would likely be important enough to include.
