yep, can plant anytime, they take a month to grow, then every 3-4 days in their season you can harvest from them
(i thinnk its every 4th day you harvest bc each fruit on the tree = 3 total, the flowers for it grow in 1 day at a time, so 3 days for all flowers, then 4th is harvest day)
Okay. Then there's a bug or I just suck because I can't plant the sapling lol... I've tilled a 3x3 but it won't let me plant it
normal soil!
but I tried that too..... D:
no tilling needed (& tilling makes it not plantable)
Oh well, I'll try it again....
if youre near the edge of greenhouse or farmladn then it views that edge tiling as an issue & wants a 5x5
same can happen sometimes with machines, decor etc
so if its 3x3 area is bordered by items, best to remove items, then plant tree, then put items back down where they were
Ahhhh, that would explain it... It's at the border
yea it gets real grumpy at bordes rn 😅
Well, at least I know the reason... 😅
Aahhhh so that’s the reason! 🥲 I’ve been struggling to plant the fruit tree, I have no idea at all why I cannot plant it near the fence/border. Thank you so much, I will try to remove the fence first. Hopefully it will work!
Oh yes, can I use fertilizer and flash for faster growth for fruit tree? 🤔
Fruit Trees cannot be fertilized bc they don’t go onto tilled soil, just normal farm land (like the basic trees)
What about trees in the greenhouse? I couldn’t plant any of the trees that require 8 squares. No matter how much I tilled and cleared. I gave up and will have to wait several seasons to provide the osmium grade fruit for the goddess.
You don’t plant fruit trees on tilled soil
A few messages above in this thread is info explaining the fruit tree planting -> #1157933769777483777 message
Do we know if it bothers the fruit trees if we put flooring down in the 3x3 area? I'm planning an orchard area, but it's looking a little sad with all that empty space. I was planning on putting down some grass or other decorative tiling around the bottom, but if it stops them from growing, that's obviously not fitting. Any tips?
