I saw this and how exactly do u know if you are a backer or just early access? i have it on steam does this mean they will switch pc to PlayStation and have to ask for pc again or ?

It's an additional platform. If you have Coral Island on Steam and have no intention of playing on PS4 or PS5, then this announcement is mostly irrelevant to you.
