i have a question, I accepted the "Bring 1 Salmon to Jim" errand but that was a month back bc i took a break from playing. but the quest doesn't seem disappear or accomplishable like even if i do what it says it doesn't say "give quest item" but it says "gift" instead. Has this happen to anyone or was it just a bug

That is linked to Jim's 5 heart event, you need to have seen the ones before it for it to trigger

You do need to have seen all his other events, but also you don’t hand him the salmon. If it triggers properly it’ll be taken from your bag during the scene after he leads you to the kitchen. It’s a Jim heart event but also a way to get the smoked salmon recipe

hi i've seen all the events but the 5 heart one still isnt triggered for some reason? i enter the beach shack (Monday) and they all just start leaving at 5pm closing time xD

So I haven't tested this, but did you enter before 5 pm?
I remember something similar happening with other scenes for me, like Suki's I think
However, I can't confirm either way so maybe try entering after 5 pm and see if that triggers properly
