Are you letting them out on nice days and do you have grass out?
I am letting them out, but it's winter and there is no grass out anymore. That would probably explain it?
It also does take a while for them to generate
Do you have a temperature machine in your coop? Animals will be harder to get happy without one. And yes they produce a feather in relatively huge intervals compared to other animals. I think it’s similar to Lamas, they take forever to produce wool.
You can plant grass starter in winter. You will have to replant every few days but it is cheap, you save hay, and you get the animals to drop outside.
