I never take it out of my inventory and i checked all my storage but i cant find my hoe anywhere. Is there a way to get it back or buy another one?

I have this same issue with my pickaxe. It looks like it's a known bug but so far I haven't heard the devs say anything about a fix. You can't buy them anywhere so in the meantime.... not a lot you can do.
