I just unlocked the dig site. Looks like I can use the hoe to uncover the dirt and random items will appear that I can collect. Is this the only mechanic? Nothing to do with the pickaxe or am I missing something? Looks like I can make the dirt reappear with the pickaxe but guessing that doesn’t refresh the spawn beneath the dirt? Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!

Just the excavation area via hoe, yep!

The drops/spawns for it already weekly upon sleeping Sunday nights, so every Monday is the earliest you can check it for new drops (that was the pattern when I was testing during beta)

The main bonus of it is that you can directly obtain Dino bones bc entire fossils can be found 🙂

How do I catch the sunflower sea star? It says spring depth 50-60 but I can’t find any 😞

The osmium kelp area, the space left of the cave entrance and all around should have them spring and summer
