DLC but have to rebuy on steam?

how can i get the new dlc without buying coral island on steam? i already have coral island bc of kickstarter but once i try to buy this dlc on steam it says i have to buy coral island through steam ://

If you backed for PC then you should have a game code on backer kit to input on Steam to get the game

Once game is downloaded to your library steam should let you purchase DLC

I did that and it’s downloaded but for whatever reasons it’s registering that I don’t have the game and can’t buy the DLC unless i rebuy the base game

And just to triple check, your steam has ‘Coral Island’ & not ‘Coral Island Alpha’ ?

Sorry for the late reply but it says ‘Coral Island Alpha’!!

ahhh thats the reason why it isnt working then!
alpha was a different game & you need the main game branch via early access now

if you backed for PC you should have another code to redeem for EA on your backerkit

however if backed for any consoles, you wont have anything right now
