I can’t find hardwood anywhere, it says the carpenter has it at town rank D, my town is currently C rank

Hardwood opens at rank B at the carpenter shop. You can collect it from logs in the mid forest (around the corner from the giant village) using a silver axe or from the logs on your farm with a gold axe or bombs
