crash while cooking

i was cooking the recipe "egg custard", and after all the steps, i press "confirm". and then freeze completely.
i already had a lot of severe crashes before the latest update (fall & merfolk update), but now they seem to reappear at completely random times towards the end of the game day.

repro rate: 100%
i tried restarting the game and do it as the first thing.

Game version: v0.5-152

Pc and GPU specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz

I had same problem while trying to cook manually. If i cook with a recipe it works normally.

It's impossible to try cooking manually; all the recipes I've attempted to prepare are freezing the game.

Just had the same problem right now. I can't get through Winter 23 without something crashing my game. *Mine was the fruit tart with recipe

So i just made tomato soup again and its not crashing just freezes. I can wait a while to see if it will crash.

Hi Dinda. The recipes that are freezing the game are the ones crafted manually. You create the dish normally, but when you press "enter" to confirm, that's when the freezing occurs, requiring you to interrupt the game through Steam. The recipes are: Smoothies, Onigiri, Tomato Soup, Eggplant Lasagna, Puree, Fresh Salad, Roasted Chestnut and Grilled Fish. I tried making a recipe for each utensil, and the game always freezes in the same spot. I believe this freezing issue will occur with all manually created recipes. If you use the Recipe Book, the game continues to work normally. I'll go ahead and send my save file in case you need it. Another thing that's been happening, I know this isn't the topic for it, but I'd rather mention it here than create another topic, is that the game has crashed many times when I try to move things using the Carpenter. If I move them through the architect's table, it works fine.

i didn't encounter this problem with other recipe, but i don't cook often. i just did another manual cook and a recipe, but without problems

I just tried cooking using the recipe book, and it actually presents the same issue that was occurring with manual cooking.
