Please include a copy of your crash report.
How to find your crash report:
C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes remove the brackets and type in your username in the search
thats the latest one at least. I have like 19 of them from today heh
I've uninstalled the game and reinstalled to no avail, and I uninstalled nvidia experience in case its overlay was the issue.

what you see in that video I took unfortunatly. I can restart my computer and it crashes every time upon trying to load my save file. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no avail as well
I tried loading in for funsies earlier today and it crashed again at the exact same point
for both the save file and the back up dave file

Can you send me your back up save file? You can either send me the sav file or simply zip everything in that folder and send it here. Thank you for understanding
I opened the game and selected the save that I wanted to play and it crashed as it was loading. I then tried to play from backup save and it crashed while loading as well.

Thank you so much. I will try to check on this first, and If you want to try playing with backup save file, I suggest using 'SaveBackup_0_8,' but keep in mind that you will lose a few days of progress in the game. Thank you for understanding

FWIW I was just having this exact same issue and crash (same message as in Diamond30199's video) and verifying the integrity of my game files seemed to fix it (right-click the game in Steam > Properties... > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files). It said something about a file not being able to be validated and redownloaded it.

same like the others. I try to load the save and it crashed. But before I exit the game and comeback (before this issue happen),it have some bugs and crash several time.
I am also experiencing the crash when loading. My game crashed last night after making changes to my farm using the architect's desk and setting up some auto-chests. I went to sleep after doing all this and my game crashed. I left it last night, but when I start it today it gives me the error seen in the image.
And again after restoring from a backup while fighting in the fire cave beyond level 15.
Hi, I'm having the same issue. I was able to play fine last night and had no crashes; today, every time I load up my save, my application crashes. I ran Task Manager during my last attempt and the attempt to load appears to be capping out my computer's memory, so that could be related? I had no other applications running (just TM, CI, and Steam) and, again, was running fine on the same machine last night.
Tried the game file integrity tip above and no such luck, all files were validated

I loaded up my SaveBackup_0_8 and I've been able to play today! I'll let you know if it breaks again! Thanks 😄
@quartz vapor how do I load up an older version SaveBackup_0_8?? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and still have the same issue. 😭
I copied all my backup saves into a backup's backup folder and then deleted SaveBackup_0_0 and Save Backup_0_1 in the normal backup folder, and then RENAMED SaveBackup_0_8 to SaveBackup_0_0 and it let me load it. I have no idea if I needed to rename it or just delete the other backups in the folder but shrug

If it's steam version it's:
C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\Backups or something similar to that. Sorry I'm at work and not at my PC to check the exact location T.T
No worries! I ended up doing a separate post and found mine under a different folder path since it's through Xbox. But thanks for your help!
Sorry, busy week! Everything is up to date AFAIK. I'm on an HP Spectre x360, 11th gen Intel i7 processor, 16gb RAM, 64-bit, and I'm running Windows 11. Tried the SaveBackup_0_8 recommendation as well with no luck. I was able to get into my save file twice when I was running offline (not syncing w/Steam), but crashed both times--once after a day, second time on the same day I loaded into.
If you happen to be able to replicate this issue again, can you please send us some video? Could you please send us your save file so our team can take a closer look?
Just experienced, here's the save file. Video is too big to post directly in Discord, here's a link, the crash happens around 1:07: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mXhj2WtZmKUIVyGFfVBchSqzjpQlnWPU/view?usp=sharing I was able to get in and play through 5-6 days yesterday, so this isn't happening all the time, just most of the time. And behavior isn't always exactly the same; this time the backdrop stayed up after crashing, but it often shuts down successfully.
Can you give us your graphic card details?
intel Iris Xe graphics--not the most computer-savvy but I believe it's integrated w the processor

Based on the crash log you received, there seems to be a compatibility problem with your device's graphics card. you can try updating your graphic card before you run the game. Lowering the game's graphic setting will also help reduce the crashes from happening!
Coral Island requires a dedicated graphic card to play. When you were using dedicated graphics before and the problem occurs now, it's because we need more power with every update.
We will have optimization near the full release later, but we can't promise that the minimum requirements will be like the beginning. We are currently running minimum requirement tests, we will announce the results when we have them
