I just cleared all osmium kelp area, then the cutscene happened where everyone left the palace and went... somewhere?

I'm not sure what to do next.

Do I have to find them and talk to them? If so, I'm not sure where they are. 🤔

Or can I just go back and do my usual farming stuff now that the osmium kelp area is cleared?

Head out, you'll get a letter for more stuff

If you want to be prepared ||you need 5 osmium kelp and 5 osmium quality crops||

||do the 5 crops need to be unique? or can it be 5 of the same osmium crop types, e.g. 5 osmium quality strawberries? ||

I went back to the farm and still haven't received a letter yet. Guess I'll wait to tomorrow in-game and see if it comes.

Yes. Any crop. That happens a couple days after the tree scene
