fruit plants harvesting

My fruit plants are in my greenhouse, and when they look like they have fruit I shake the tree, two fruit come down, but then the tree looks like there’s still fruit on it. So I shake the tree, a LOT. Sometimes another couple shakes, sometimes like 20 shakes later, and then more fruit falls and then the plant finally looks barren. I’m getting like 4-6 fruit per tree a day now. Is this normal or weird?
