Can you plant fruit saplings like the apple tree in the greenhouse? If so, what are the limitations? I have a 3x3 space clear but it’s not letting me plant anything.

It is tilled! I’ll try my pickaxe on the spot. Currently my greenhouse is bugged so I’ll clear plants and the soil but I have to save and exit the game for the assets to actually disappear

depends on how you explain is- the very outer edge doesn't count and then they are supposed to be 3x3 after that. i had all of mine with only 2 spaces between trees since each 1 is like a t1 sprinkler. i wish i had grabbed that screenshot- WAIT i might have it. sec

no they have a 3x3 area for the tree and that is all that is needed
the issue instead may be that same issue with that wall- where you can put stuff in that outer box of the 5x5 IF you plant tree first

ok cool- so here's what happened- the tree itself should be a 3x3 but you have to do tree first and then fill in the outside portion of the 5x5 (so that outter group can be planted now that hte tree is)
in my sleep deprived state i forgot about that and i apologize

you can in that very outter one leaving the 3x3 immediately around the tree empty
and i'll get with Ardian about this again cuz it was never discussed further during beta
