Auto Chest / Conveyor Belt

I cant seem to figure out how to attach the auto chest to make it a conveyor belt. What am i missing?

Quick question: what works with the auto chests?

i only tried kiln/smelter, kegs/barrels, beehive/barrels

i know the replicator and transmutation do not work

and i dont know about the recycle machine

I've tried aging barrel, mason jar, oil press, extractor, mayonnaise machine cheese press and keg but only the keg works.

I loaded from the bottom and now the aging barrel works with grape juice.

i'd have to play with it more- i dont have a save on live that is far enough for it

Does the Auto Chest only work on the left side if you're not doing a 2-step production process (like kegs and then aging barrels) ? I tried using 2 kilns, 1 on each side of the chest, but it only loaded and unloaded from the kiln on the left side.

I've used it with a Kiln on each side, and it worked... with that said it does seem to be a little buggy. Sometime one side doesn't load, etc. Usually picking things up and placing them back can fix it, from what I've found.

Second question, are you supposed to collect the finished products from each individual chest in a conveyor belt? I had assumed that the finished products would be accessible from one of the chests on the end of the conveyor belt, because I was able to load all machines from just the chest at the end. But I had to collect the finished products from each individual chest piece of the conveyor belt instead. It was also difficult reach each auto chest in the middle of the machines, so I had to move the ones on the sides. Is that expected, or would that be a bug too?

I believe it's supposed to act like 1 large chest, effectively. With that said, I've definitely had finished products kind of "stuck" in the middle sometimes that i have had to manually retrieve. I assume this is a bug.

The "Auto Chest" is the chest in this case. It's a special type all on it's own.

Almost everything you do contributes a bit. new things to the museum, completing offerings at the temple, completing alters under water, etc.

I was at D rank yesterday, quite a ways from C ... maybe 2/3 in. Focused up on what I could complete for bundles, finishing out the caves, and going crazy under water... now I'm nearly B rank 🙂
