What is the best way to earn money?

I am fairly new to the game. I am now I’m the beginning of my fall season in Year 1. I feel as though I hardly farm because buying seeds at the store racks up to be quite much and if I spend time doing other quests I definitely don’t end up farming.

Right now I have about $6000 so I haven’t been able to really upgrade weapons or my home to decorate and such. Is this fairly normal
progress wise or are there any tips? I just want to relax and decorate 😂

The only tip I have is hay sells for 5 gold so that is what I do because the grass grows everywhere.
Also the devs intended this game to be played through multiple in-game years so it is going to take time.
Definatly not a speed run kind of game.

For me, it was unlocking the fire temple and getting osmium ore and turning it into osmium bars. They sell for 1500 each.

I have 800 hours in game. You'll want to invest in farming as that is the best money

Spring = sugarcane then potatoes
Summer = pineapple into juice
Fall= fairy rose into honey
Winter is anything really

Get fish ponds and insect houses and dup stuff

but yeah im new to the game aswell and honestly i love that the game actually makes me put effort and time to achiv things cause for example being able to buy cows on day 3 (latest friends of kingdom game) is just so unfun and unsatisfying

tap the maple trees, it is slow, but maple syrup sells for 200 a piece.

I think there’s a difference in play styles for sure haha. I’m more of a “have two saves” kinda girly. One where I can grind and another where I can just relax and be creative from the jump like sims lmao.
