#How to enter merfolk kingdom

I have 20/20 in Se Pulu and Dua Pulu but when I go to the merfolk kingdom bridge, I arrive at the door but nothing happens. I tried going to the lab, have floated around clearing trash in various areas, and can't figure out how to trigger the cut scene for the mermaid kingdom. I unlocked all orbs before the update and unlocked them during the time when the diving quests were bugged, if that changes anything

Have you got the second diving suit? Have you made any offerings to the goddess?

I'm in year 2, I've completed around 10 offerings

I don't think I got the second diving suit (I did in the beta branch so I know the cut scene) but not 1000% sure how to tell the difference between the diving suits to see if thats the issue

ok i only see one diving suit. how do i get the diving suit tho? isn't it attached to a cut scene? i didnt get that cut scene bc i finished the diving quest during the bug that removed the diving quest, but i finished all 20 nodes ages ago

ok i will see what i can do, i've gone back and forth between the two fast travel spots and haven't triggered but i will keep trying 🙂

Try to approach it after resetting anchor, so manually and see if it helps. Otherwise the save might be stuck?? 😬 sorry

Pix is right if it won’t trigger at all. You can’t progress without the suit unfortunately

i mean, there's a lot of people who were affected by the diving quest bug so i wonder why there wasn't anything about this being game breaking before? i searched a bit before posting my question. i'll submit a bug report and hope for the best if i can't trigger the cut scene but if this file is unusable.......... 🙃

just makes me wonder why this particular cut scene is location tied instead of tied to completing the quest. if it was tied to the quest it could be triggered again after a bug fix a lot easier, like all the cut scenes that have been added in

I don't remember enough about that bug to say much else other than I do know for some of the diving quests we were told the file couldn't be used so I guess now we wait for the team

i honestly don't have it in me to start over so if this file is toast i'm done for at least a few months while i emotionally recover 😂

Honestly. Starting over has not been as bad as I thought this tike around but trust me. I understand completely

Super quick check in
The diving suit cutscene has two parts

1 where you tele to the point where you first saw the shake for the cutscene

Then, take the anchor up. Don't teleport back. It seems the cutscene where Ling makes you the second suit triggers only when you surface using the anchor

Go back to the ocean and reach end of silver area, at the merfolk kingdom gate is a little puzzle

You might want to try retriggering it if you got that before the update! I am on an in-progress file and had that a long time ago, but I still had to retrigger. It's a two-part scene: one with Agung & Denali, then one with Ling when you take the anchor up. That's the one where she wants to make you a second suit. It seems to show up when you emerge from the dock - teleporting to the diving pier doesn't work

They seem to be able to be triggered separately, but you should try both. I didn't get a quest or anything, I just went back and triggered it manually

How would I retirgger? Also, when my bug was fixed and the shaking happened, I never had Agung and Denali. This could be the start of the problem then, huh?

There are symbols on the gate that match symbols on the floor. Stand on the symbols on the floor in the order that they are on the gate.
