Okay, so playing the update and see all the fruit trees are available at Sam’s now. I’m currently day 8 of Spring, Year 2.
All of the fruit trees have specific seasons and they all say they take 28 days to grow.
Does this mean for me to get fruit from a Summer tree, I need to plant in Spring?
I think I just need someone to explain it in the simplest of ways, because I’m clearly sleep deprived and my brain is like that woman’s in the math gif.

yes- so it takes a full season to grow- plant as early as possible for any of them
i do think they are bugged right now and cannot be planted though

Will the tree die if we plant it before its season though? Say if you plant a summer/fall tree on spring?

Is it normal for fruit trees to wither when changing seasons? I had my spring/summer tree planted and was harvesting during spring, but it died once the season changed into summer (even though the tree is for summer too):DUcry:

Fruit plants wither, fruit trees go dormant. They might lose their leaves but that’s it

Those are fruit plants not fruit trees that were in game before. No scarecrow needed by either from testing in beta

Yes I did that but there is a bug when I go in the greenhouse I get teleported back to the house that’s a big glitch also I don’t like the way it’s made up we should be able to put chests and decorate in there

Yuhh, I just bought my first Fruit Trees and I didn't have enough area for them yet so I kept them in the chests in my GH and the next in-game day they were gone 😭

Yeah that’s one of the bugs unfortunately. Chests in any buildings seem to be having the issue, but the greenhouse especially.
Is it still gone when you reload?
