Updated and continued my previous game save (Summer, year 2). Triggered alot of the new things and cut scenes but I've yet to get the Architect desk from the giants. To my knowledge it's granted to you after helping them in the caves if I remember correctly, and in my beta I had it by summer year 1.
Do I have to start a new game to get it? Or is there any way to trigger this event?

Yes, and I finished them along time ago in this save 😊 That's why I figured it should've triggered already

It still takes a few days if you completed it before update. 2 days after fire mine clear if you finish it after update.
