I also had this happen like 4 or 5 times now. Also getting random critical errors (for example while being in the "esc" menu not doing anything in game).

I built a fence around my farm that included a large stump between two of the fence posts. It's one of the ones you can't break until you get a bronze axe. I figured I'd just remove it later and finish the fence then. The first time, I removed the stump and fixed the fence, but the game crashed when trying to save at the end of the night. Then I tried just removing the stump and leaving the gap in the fence, but it still crashed. As long as I don't touch anything with the fence (or the stump), it's fine.

I was in the pause menu to get some coffee irl 😄 And other times I was picking up some foragable flowers or catching bugs or cutting see grass with the scythe. And some at the end of the day when my char went to bed it crashed just before saving and moving on to the next day. 🥺
