maybe the ingredient is rice flour, carrot and shrimp, because if you put this it will show inventory full

Question. How do you get recipes. Do you get them all from befriending NPC's? Do you buy them somewhere? Do you just have to figure them out yourself with the help of the wiki?
I want to finish the cooking things in the altars, but don't have the recipes. Not even the tomato soup one which is a basic cooking thing according to the altar.
